The GHS Girls Cross Country team competed in one of the toughest MHSAA D1 Regionals at Allendale HS on Saturday. The Jackets finished 10th overall.
GHS was led by Junior Sara Yob with a 26th place finish and a career PR of 19:58. He was supported by Junior Madison Town 52nd with a career PR of 21:39, Senior Danielle Bigelow 70th with a career PR of 22:46, Sophomore Ditte Hansen at 24:08 with a career PR and rounding out the top scoring five was Sophomore Kyliegh Mills 77th at 24:20. Also finishing for the Jackets were Senior Chloe VanTassell 79th at 24:53 and Senior Mackenzie Dykstra 81st at 25:11.
Yob, Town, Bigelow and Hansen all set seasonal PRs in this last race of the 2018 season.
