Even though Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets gave up three runs in the first inning, they still defeated Tri-County High School 14-4 on Tuesday. 

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets took the lead for good with five runs in the second inning.  In the second an error scored one run for The Yellow Jackets, Caden Welch singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Grant Thwaites's sac fly scored one run for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets, and Logan Schueneman doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets tallied five runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive onslaught came from singles by Trenton Keopke and Andrew Caswell,  by Welch, and an error on a ball put in play by Will Nelson.

Caswell pitched Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets to victory. The pitcher went four innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out nine.  Nelson threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
