Gianna Lahr drove in four runs on one hit to lead Greenville Varsity Jackets past 2026 GR Northview Varsity Softball 12-0 on Monday at Greenville High School. Lahr hit a home run to left field in the first inning, scoring three runs, and walked in the second inning, scoring one.

Greenville Varsity Jackets scored seven runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Alexa Hyler drew a walk, scoring one run, Lahr drew a walk, scoring one run, Maddy Free drew a walk, scoring one run, Kelsey Barczak singled, scoring one run, Jakaiya McComb induced Rachelle Sherwood to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Charlee Henrickson doubled, scoring one run.

Greenville Varsity Jackets jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Drew Galey tripled, scoring one run, and Lahr homered to left field, scoring three runs.

A ground out by Free extended the Greenville Varsity Jackets lead to 12-0 in the bottom of the third inning.

Jenna Jenks earned the win for Greenville Varsity Jackets. The hurler allowed five hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out two and walking none. Olivia Palmer took the loss for 2026 GR Northview Varsity Softball. The reliever went two and one-third innings, allowing one run (zero earned) on one hit, striking out one and walking one. Laela Spendow started in the circle for 2026 GR Northview Varsity Softball. The hurler allowed two hits and four runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking two. Gracie Bonga pitched one inning of zero-run ball for Greenville Varsity Jackets in relief. The pitcher gave up zero hits, striking out one and walking none.

Galey, Henrickson, and Aubrie Uebele each collected two hits for Greenville Varsity Jackets. Hyler led Greenville Varsity Jackets with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting seven walks for the game. Hyler stole two bases.
