Greenville Varsity Jackets could not keep pace with Allendale Varsity Falcons 11-6 on Wednesday at Lowell High School.

Allendale Varsity Falcons got on the board in the top of the first inning after Kloie Raterink tripled to center field, and Ileigh Torp grounded out, each scoring one run.

Greenville Varsity Jackets tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a double by Gianna Lahr, and a single by Rachelle Sherwood.

Allendale Varsity Falcons took the lead in the top of the third. An error scored one run, to give Allendale Varsity Falcons the edge, 3-2.

Drew Galey homered to left field, which helped Greenville Varsity Jackets tie the game at three in the bottom of the third.

A single by Raterink gave Allendale Varsity Falcons the lead, 5-3, in the top of the fourth.

Claire Joseph earned the win for Allendale Varsity Falcons. The starter allowed eight hits and six runs (five earned) over seven innings, striking out six and walking three. Jenna Jenks took the loss for Greenville Varsity Jackets. The starter went six innings, allowing eight runs (five earned) on nine hits, striking out three and walking one.

Aubrie Uebele went 1-for-4 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Lahr led Greenville Varsity Jackets with three hits in four at bats.

Allendale Varsity Falcons accumulated 11 hits in the game. Raterink led Allendale Varsity Falcons with five runs batted in. The infielder went 4-for-5 on the day. Megan Genuise collected three hits for Allendale Varsity Falcons in five at bats.
