The Greenville Boys Varsity Golf team captured the Championship at the St.Ives Match Play event hosted by Lakeview.  In typical stroke play, golfers are only playing against the course but in Match Play, they are not only playing the course but an opponent too.  It creates some intense, high pressure moments combined with some roller coaster up and down twists and turns, which really creates an exciting and emotional brand of golf.  The Yellow Jackets handled it all beautifully and persevered to take home the 1st Place trophy.  The team was led by 1st Place Finishes from Sutton Schroeder (1st Flight), Bronson Schroeder (2nd Flight) and Aiden Kramer (5th Flight).  These guys were really tested, in that at least one of their matches went extra holes or came down to the final hole before the match was decided.  The 1st Place Champions went a combined 9-0 in their matches.  Carter Giles came in with a hard-fought 2nd Place (4th Flight), Ethan DeKraker pos

The Greenville Boys Varsity Golf team made it two out of two RCA Jamboree 1st Place Finishes as they won the event hosted by The Falls at Barber Creek with a score of 155.  The Yellow Jackets were paced by Sutton Schroeder's round of 2-under par 34, which was Top Medalist.  Second Place belonged to Bronson Schroeder with a score of 37 and Corbin Perrien also placed in the top 10 with a score of 41.  Freshmen Carter Giles carded a 43, Aiden Kramer came in at 45, and Ethan DeKraker posted a 46.  It was a great showing by all 6 Yellow Jacket competitors.

The Greenville Boys Varsity Golf team continued their hot start to the 2025 season by capturing their 2nd Invitational 1st Place Trophy in as many days by winning the Lakeview Invitational hosted by Brookside Golf Course.  The Yellow Jackets were led by the Schroeder brother's claiming the Top 2 Medalist Positions.  Senior, Sutton, claimed 1st Place Medalist with an even-par round of 72 and Freshmen, Bronson, took home 2nd Place with a total of 79.  Freshmen, Carter Giles, battled back from a slow start to claim the last Medalist spot with an 87.  Senior, Aiden Kramer, just missed out on the podium with an 88 while Corbin Perrien carded an 89 and Jackson Ashley posted a 95 in his first Varsity Competition.  All 6 Yellow Jackets placed in the Top 21 of the 96-man field.

The Greenville Boys Varsity Golf team came away with an extremely impressive 1st Place Trophy at the Thornapple Kellogg Invitational hosted at Yankee Spring Golf Course.  The strong field included Hudsonville, Jenison, Grandville, St. Joseph, Zeeland West, Byron Center, West Ottawa and Caledonia, as well as 8 other quality programs.  The Yellow Jackets were paced by 2nd Place Medalist Sutton Schroeder's even-par 72 and 8th Place Medalist Bronson Schroeder's 76.  Sophomore Corbin Perrien came up clutch by going birdie, par on his last 2 holes to help secure the 1-stroke victory.  Perrien finished with a 78.  Senior Aiden Kramer and Freshmen Carter Giles both carded 87's and Junior Ethan DeKraker posted a 90.

The Greenville Boys Varsity Golf Team started off the River Cities Alliance Conference season with a 1st Place victory, with a score of 158, at the Jamboree hosted by Cedar Springs at Cedar Chase Golf Course.  The Yellow Jackets were paced by Top Medalist Sutton Schroeder with an outstanding round of 2-under par 34.  Bronson Schroeder scored a 39, Corbin Perrien carded a 42 and Carter Giles came in at 43.  Senior Aiden Kramer posted a 47 and Junior Ethan DeKraker rounded out the scoring with a 49.

The Greenville Boys Golf Team competed in the 22-team Forest Hill Invitational held at Egypt Valley Country Club.  The Yellow Jackets battled an elite field of some of the best teams in the state of Michigan in addition to the 30 mph winds for a 15th Place Finish with a team score of 352.  The score was a 28 stroke improvement over last year even in the difficult conditions.  Greenville was paced by Sutton Schroeder's 79, which was just one stroke out of the medals.  Freshmen Bronson Schroeder carded an 87, Sophomore Corbin Perrien posted a 91.  Aiden Kramer and Carter Giles rounded out the scoring with 95's.
