A walk-off left Greenville Yellow Jackets  JV on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat to Cedar Springs on Monday.  The game was tied at one with Cedar Springs batting in the bottom of the seventh when Anthony drew a walk, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Cedar Springs pitchers struck out nine, while Greenville Yellow Jackets  JV sat down three.

Greenville Yellow Jackets  JV got things started in the first inning when Kyle Parris singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Cedar Springs tied things up at one.  Dylan drew a walk, scoring one run.

Trenton took the win for Cedar Springs. He lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out nine.

Parris took the loss for Greenville Yellow Jackets  JV. He lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and one run while striking out three.

Evan Uebele, Parris, and Caleb McCarty each managed one hit to lead Greenville Yellow Jackets  JV.
