The Jackets lost a heartbreaker in game one of the non-league doubleheader as they lost the lead late to fall to Central Montcalm 7-5.
Tristen Vasel went five and i third innings as the starting pitcher. Vasel struck out five and walked five while giving up five hits leading to 3 earned runs. Brady Savage pitched in relief giving up 5 hits and 4 runs took the loss in the game.
The Yellow Jacket hitters pounded out 8 hit in the game. Logan Schueneman went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a single while Chrlie Braman added a 2-4 performance hitting 2 singles. Logan Mann, Case Johnson and Tristen Vasel each had a single in the offensive effort.
Cooper Lilley and Isaac Dailey each had a stolen base in the game.
