The Greenville Yellow Jackets watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-2 loss to Sparta on Friday. The Jackets struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively committing 8 errors as a team.
Tristen Vasel was on the mound for Greenville. The hurler went six innings, allowing 3 earned runs and 5 unearned runs on nine hits and striking out five. Brady Savage threw one inning in relief.
Logan Mann (single with 2 RBIs) and Brayden Hillard (single) each collected one hit to lead the Yellow Jackets.
