The JV Jacket soccer team was on fire tonight against Belding’s Black Knights. The boys were hungry from the starting whistle. Freshman John Huckleberry scored his first high school goal. Sophomores Alex Martin and Kevin Scheppman III each added a goal to the score sheet. Scoring a brace for the Jackets tonight was sophomore Ben Russell. Leading the team was Jonah Verway who scored a hat trick with his first goal finding the back of the net in the first minute of the game. Sophomore keeper Luke Swanson kept a clean sheet stopping all shots on goal. Final score Greenville 8 Belding 0.
