We fought hard tonight and worked well as a team. After the first half the Jackets trailed the Red Hawks 1-3. Our only goal came from a nice combination with Tyler Matulaitis and Ben Russell with Sophomore Kevin Scheppman finding the back corner. The second half we came out hungry for the win. Freshman Jacob VanTassell finished a perfect corner kick for his first goal of the game. He finished another beautiful cross from Sophomore Jonah Verway for his brace. Sophomore Ben Russell buried a sweet shot from the penalty spot and Alex Martin snuck in a ball in the top bins from a free kick about 25 yards out. I am proud of the team for not giving up and fighting for the win.
