Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets were victorious against Cedar Springs 9-4 on Thursday at 111 North Hillcrest Street.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after Brooke Lindquist singled, scoring one run, Alexis Enbody singled, scoring two runs, an error scored one run, Aubrie Uebele tripled, scoring two runs, and Emily Rice singled, scoring one run.
Rice earned the win for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. The righty surrendered eight hits and four runs (three earned) over seven innings, striking out two and walking one. K Fisk took the loss for Cedar Springs. The pitcher went six innings, allowing nine runs (one earned) on eight hits, striking out 10 and walking four.
