Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets Defeat Allendale On Multiple Hit Performance By Drew Galey

Drew Galey collected four hits in four at bats, as Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets defeated Allendale 15-5 on Monday at Allendale High School. Galey doubled in the third inning, singled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and singled in the fifth inning.
Allendale got on the board in the top of the first inning after Bailey Scholma walked, and Megan Genuise was struck by a pitch, each scoring one run.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by Galey, and Brooke Lindquist.
Ileigh Torp singled down the right field line, which helped Allendale tie the game at three in the top of the second.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets made the score 7-3 in the bottom of the second after Emily Rice singled, scoring one run, Galey singled, scoring one run, and a steal of home scored two runs.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets scored six runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Aubrie Uebele singled, scoring one run, Rice doubled, scoring two runs, Galey doubled, scoring one run, Lindquist singled, scoring one run, and Cam Klco singled, scoring one run.
