Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets beat Holton 4-1 on Tuesday at Holton High School Athletic Field.
A single by Drew Galey on an 0-2 count put Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets on the board in the top of the fifth.
Emily Rice started the game for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. The hurler surrendered five hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out four and walking two. Kenzie Greene stepped in the circle first for Holton. The starting pitcher surrendered 11 hits and four runs (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out seven and walking none.
