Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets Stymied By Lowell

Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets couldn't keep up with Lowell and fell 13-3 on Thursday at Lowell High School Athletic Department.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets got on the board in the top of the first inning after Drew Galey doubled down the right field line, and Brooke Lindquist grounded out, each scoring one run.
Lowell jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the second inning after Jordyn Mcclymont doubled down the left field line, Sophie Konyndyk grounded out, and Megan Lillie singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.
Lowell added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning when Allison Raison singled, scoring two runs, and Lillie grounded out, scoring one run.
Emily Rice started the game for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. The starting pitcher surrendered 11 hits and nine runs (six earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Lillie led things off in the circle for Lowell. The starting pitcher surrendered seven hits and two runs over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.
Rice, Galey, and Aubrie Uebele each collected two hits for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets. Makenzie Enbody, Galey, and Lindquist each drove in one run for Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets.
