Drew Galey’s Big Day Propels Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets Past Kenowa Hills

Drew Galey drove in four runs on two hits to lead Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets past Kenowa Hills 11-1 on Tuesday at Greenville High School. Galey hit an inside the park home run in the fourth inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the third inning, scoring one.
Kenowa Hills were the first to get on the board in the first when Kendall Donely laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring one run.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Galey grounded out, and Emily Rice scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Galey singled to left field, Kenowa Hills committed an error, and Emma Durdle grounded out, each scoring one run.
Greenville Varsity Yellow Jackets added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning on three hits. Rice singled, scoring one run, and Galey hit an inside the park home run, scoring two runs.
