The YellowJacket JV volleyball team played in the West Ottawa tournament this past weekend. We didn't start out the day well, but we managed to pull it together by the end of the day. We went 0-2-1 in pool play, tying with Zeeland East and then losing to Catholic Central and West Ottawa. This placed us in the silver tournament which we went undefeated in. The first match we faced Zeeland East again and we managed to beat them in 2 sets. In the finals of the silver tournament, we played Otsego which beat in 2 sets. The last set was a very close one, but we managed to pull it out in the end. We finished the day 2-2-1.
