The Jackets participated in a tri-meet last night in Allendale. The YellowJacket JV team faced Allendale in the first match of the night. We played quite well despite losing one of our starters to an ankle injury early in the first set. After an adjustment period, the team pulled together and went on to win the match (3-0).
Then after a short break, the YellowJackets faced Covenant Christian. In the first set, we played tough with them, but lost 21-25. Unfortunately, in the next 2 sets we fell apart and lost the match. We will learn from our mistakes and bounce back in our next outing.
