On Saturday, the YellowJackets finished their volleyball season at the Ithaca Invitational.  We had our moments when we played very well as a team and then moments where we didn't, but overall it was a good day.  It was a round robin tournament with 6 total teams.  We went 4-2-1 for the day and took second place in the tournament.  We played the following teams:  Saint Louis (25-14, 25-12), St. Charles (25-22, 25-16), Breckenridge (22-25,14-25), Ithaca (25-6, 25-10), and Freeland (25-14, 16-25).  Then the top 4 teams made it into bracket play.  In the first round we played and beat Breckenridge in 3 sets (25-22, 23-25, and 15-9).  In the finals, we faced Freeland again and loss 18-25 and 16-25.  We had a successful season going 23-21-5 overall and 4-8 in conference.  The girls played hard all season and showed improvements throughout.  It was a good season with a great group of girls.
