On Saturday, the Greenville JV volleyball team went to MSA Fieldhouse to play in a tournament. There were only 5 JV teams but it was a challenging group. In the first match, we played a very talented team in Byron Center and lost 18-25 and 13-25. Then in the second match, we played much closer against Allendale but still lost in 2 sets (23-25, 22-25). The third match against West Catholic, we were up and down but didn't play as well, losing in 2 sets (23-25, 13-25). Finally, in the last match of the day we faced a familiar opponent in Caledonia and while we played pretty well, we still lost in 2 sets (17-25, 21-25). So, even though we didn't win any matches, there were some bright spots for the team and some learning points to improve.
