The GHS Girls XC team ran Saturday in the Mike Noll/Hornet Run at Central Montcalm HS. This meet uses a unique grade level format with no team scoring. The team saw a lot of Personal Records set for the 2018 season.
Earning Top 25 medals in their grade level races were Seniors Danielle Bigelow 24:17, Chloe VanTassell 25:00, Mackenzie Dykstra 25:52, Katie Vanderstel 26:36, and Brittany Thornton 27:32. Junior Sara Yob earned the first place finish with 21:10, Madison Town 22:47, Riley Kinnee 25:11, Zoe Hogan 25:42 and Allison Kilts 30:25. Sophomores Kyliegh Mills 25:18, Ditte Hansen 25:45, Kendall Senn 25:50, Madison Chaney 26:00, and Emma Huizenga 26:50.
Also running well was Sophomore Allison Bigelow 30:28, Freshman Brianna Petersen 28:54 and Kyleigh Petersen 29:13.
The Jackets will run next Saturday at the Sparta Invite.
