The GHS Girls Cross Country team ran at the Sparta Invite on Saturday. The Jackets finished 6th out of 10 schools in the Blue Division.
Earning a Top 20 medal was Junior Sara Yob 21:04 which also earned her a PR. Also finishing the race and rounding out the scoring top six were Junior Madison Town 25:52, Senior Danielle Bigelow 23:36, Junior Zoe Hogan 25:06, Senior Chloe VanTassell 25:28, Riley Kinnee 26:03 and Sophmore Kyliegh Mills 26:19.
The Reserve race saw Senior Mackenzie Dykstsra lead the way with a 23:59.
All in the all, 9 of 16 girls posted PR times over the 5k course.
Greenville will be back in action this Wednesday at Cedar Springs in an OK White jamboree beginning at 4:30 pm.
