Boys Varsity Cross Country vs. Carson City-Crystal HS School

The GHS Boys XC team ran Saturday in the Don Baese Invite at Fish Creek Sportsman Club near Carson City. The Jackets saw 9 PRs established on the 5k course with cool weather finally settling in. The Jackets were led by Micah Bouman, Aaron Amidon and Matt Jeffrey all earning Top 30 medals in the Gold/Large school division.
Rounding out the scoring five were Titus Bretzke and Gavin Dykstra. The Jackets finished 7th of 7 teams in the large school division which was won by Hanover-Horton High School.
In the Reserve race, the Jackets were led by Charlie Weinheimer and Derik Holmberg who also earned Top 50 medals.
Career PRs were established by Amdion, Jeffrey, Dykstra, Weinheimer, Holmberg, Deagan Moore, Carson Tolliver and Christian Thoroee.
GHS hosts Jamboree #3 in the OK White on Wednesday at Brookside Golf Course. Boys run at 4:30p with the Girls following at 5:10p.
